      Pros

      Great company culture and mission, the work towards making biological lab tools more accessible is both interesting and impactful. The company has a lot of room to grow in so many different directions and a great team capable of actually executing that growth has formed. CEO JBB is fantastic, the best I’ve worked for and it makes a difference.

      Cons

      Standard minor chaos that one could expect at a high growth startup. If you need consistency and routine or can’t handle dealing with some imperfections that haven’t had time to be solved yet you’ll have a bad time. I believe these things will get better.

      Pros

      Opentrons is one of those rare companies that's doing the right thing, in the right way, for the right reasons. It's a pleasure to be working for a focused and good-hearted company solving problems well that nobody else is working on.

      Cons

      There's not much, if any, active career development. Opentrons is figuring itself out, which at times can be a burden to both the teams and the individuals.
