Pros

Management team-up, they don’t see the right things, No matter how hard you work and honest Management stick up together. Operation phoenix office is The worst team to work for. Supervisors managers they know nothing but they stick together And go after their employees If I could I would rate the the team zero/0.

Cons

Pros

Beautiful facilities Talented co-workers Most people were willing to help you out Optum/UHG brand recognition

Cons

Insurmountable red tape No clear direction on priorities at the team level Many teams did duplicative/overlapping/contradicting work Mistreatment of staff by senior leaders was acknowledged but not addressed “its them being them” Strong personalities had outsize influence, to the detriment of the business; much good work was trashed if it threatened someone’s domain Very poor work/life balance (expected to be available 24-7, even during PTO)

CCM Sales is dysfunctional

Pros

Autonomy, Nursing Home Plan is a wonderful product, incentive comp

Cons

This is basically a contract sales force. No work/life balance whatsoever. And no appreciation for working 70+ hrs/weeks to get the job done. You will have to work that much to earn any money. The base salaries are awful and no merit increases. The leadership team is incompetent, volatile, unprofessional and self righteous. They also have ZERO leadership skills—they are micro managers who believe they are too important to roll up their sleeves or put their boots on the ground. They are also greedy, oh so greedy. The culture throughout CCM Sales is abusive and offensive. My years there felt like an eternity of nonstop fire drills. Management is not interested in personal growth, improvement or feedback. They evoke an environment of fear and publicly ridicule anyone who raises an objection or thinks outside the box. They bullied anyone who seemed to be a “squeaky wheel.” I still have nightmares about this job.
