Pros

The workload varies depending on the team, but I never found it to be overly fast-paced or high-pressure. People were respectful if you took vacation time and would not bother you outside of work hours. I enjoyed working with my colleagues, but the team started to feel disconnected and the company culture diminished after the moving to remote work during COVID.

Cons

In my later years working there there were constantly layoffs and I felt like they were not managed very well. Eventually, I was laid off along with many of my team members. It felt as though Oracle prioritized its bottom line over its employees, which made it challenging to stay motivated, especially since the layoffs seemed unrelated to job performance. It also felt unclear how to get promoted and advance within the company and it seemed like our work, progress toward individual performance goals, and professional development were not given much attention.

Pros

Steady pay and you’ll make friends

Cons

Worst boss I’ve ever had. Management is immature. They changed pay structure so even the highest performing people don’t make the promised amount of commission. Also the “warm leads” are a lie. Half of this job is cold calling.
