Pros

Great pay incentives, plenty of work, reasonable app, straight forward work, friendly restaurants, work when want, flexible schedule, weekly pay, helpful support.

Cons

If you interested in being treated respectfully, they weed you out & then claim you're a psychopath for wanting dispatchers to do their job and not add oppression to your delivery menu.

Easy to set your schedule through the app

Cons

Again, OrderAhead is dishonest and does not give consistent hours; on a good week you will get maybe 10- 13hrs even with a very open schedule. Thats fine if thats what you want, but their recruitment add claims you will make $20+ per hour or 40,000 per year full time. But you dont get the hours and they cheat you on the tips you do get. If the customer does not tip you in cash you will not get it... OrderAhead will take it if the customer uses the app to tip. There is no way for the driver to make sure their tip gets to them. I have had numerous year as a delivery driver, so in sum... No hours and No Tips....No thank you!

I am sorry you had such a bad experience working with us at OrderAhead. If possible please email me, paul@orderaheadapp.com, I run the Logistics team at OrderAhead and I am responsible for making sure drivers are taken care of. All of our drivers have a payment plan set to get tip and also guaranteed to make a minimum per hour wage, if you feel this is not the case I will personally look into the issue and help get it resolved ASAP. We also strive to pay out bonuses for hard working drivers as well. As for the hours that you were able to work, I can also take a look at that as well. We always have availability for drivers to work Dinner shifts especially Thursday through Sunday. However, we prioritize other shifts based on Driver reliability (i.e did they show up to their previous shifts) If you feel like you were denied any shifts I will look into the reason and get back to you immediately. Independently contracted drivers are vital to OrderAhead and we will do everything in our power to make sure they are compensated well and are happy. I hope I can resolve this misunderstanding quickly for you.

- Flexible - Timely scheduling - Constant Communication - Easy/fast training process - Fun atmosphere - Must be okay with virtual interaction

Cons

- May make you drive further than you expected in one shift. - Does not compensate enough for gas - Virtual interaction so no in-person co-workers
