      Regional Management Philosophy (Metro NY) - Manage by fear and intimidation

      Pros

      The only pro is... this is a large stable company within a recession-resistant sector. Also, the local Route Managers (Technicians) within the branch are GREAT people willing to do whatever it takes to assist the Branch Manager to succeed- that is... until regional management intervenes and requires you to "make staff improvements."

      Cons

      You will be used and abused for as long as you are willing to accept it. If the metrics within your branch begin to decline, you will constantly have the RM's foot on your throat and be harassed by the same, every minute of the day including off-hours. There are absolutely NO boundaries with respect to your personal life. The regional management team clearly does not understand the NY Metro market, how can they when they aren't from NY.
