      Cons

      One downside of working at Orlando Health is the perception of favoritism, where certain employees seem to receive more opportunities and recognition than others, creating an uneven playing field. This can lead to feelings of frustration and a lack of motivation among staff who feel overlooked.       Highly recommend ORMC as best place to word

      Pros

      This is a place I consider my professional home, having been part of this organization for over 20 years. I value the mentorship I have received throughout my journey here. I appreciate the earning potential and the comprehensive healthcare benefits offered. Most of all, I take pride in the opportunity to assist patients from diverse backgrounds. There are many career opportunities with positions at all educational levels.

      Cons

      The downside is not unique to ORMC but health care as a whole. The challenging patients and their families, The physical demands on your body. The unpredictable working conditions due to the variety of patients present.

      Pros

      I have worked with Orlando Health for 10 years and am grateful that I am able to work with people that I can say are my extended family. My direct reports have always been fair in workload, compensation and thoughtfulness in their evaluations of me. I have been promoted two times and have enjoyed each position. I am challenged by my job and there is always room for growth. I have worked for a few great companies in my career, and I can say the grass is not greener on the other side. Orlando Health is right where I need to be.   The people that work at Orlando Health are helpful, caring, and have the patient's best interest at heart. We are a team and care about one another.

      Cons

      This is the first job that I have had in healthcare, and I would say the only challenge would be grieving with patients and their families. It is an honor to be a part of someone's hardest moments, but it is also very hard to process at times. I hope that I have made a difference in someone's life with a smile or hug.
