      Just Started, but great so far

      Pros

      I've been at Osano for a little over a month now, and I've never received as much freedom to make changes and implement strategies as I've had so far. They've been incredibly supportive, and whatever I need to create, implement, and measure the content strategy, they make sure I get it. The culture has been great so far.

      Cons

      There does seem to be a bit of a "video always-on" requirement for meetings. While I understand it -- especially since it helps prevent multitasking -- it can be emotionally draining re: mental health. I'll also say that you're left to your own devices quite a bit, which isn't a bad thing at all, but if you're not self-motivated, it might be difficult to bring tasks forward.

      Pros

      - Employees at Osano are good people and good at what they do - Data privacy is a great area to be involved in - Comp and benefits are solid - The company is a public benefit corporation and operates with high integrity - It's fully remote and does it well

      Cons

      Policies are more rigid than at other SaaS startups. A couple of examples: work hours are inflexible and employees can't create new Slack channels. On the other hand, if you thrive under more structure and clearer expectations, this will be a good thing.

      Pros

      At Osano they really walk the talk. Good people that are very good at their discipline/craft. Everyone has been friendly, open and willing to help. No ego's here. Also everyone is their genuine self, and I feel I can be my authentic self as well. And, it's ok to make mistakes. Learn and grow. Also, the onboarding and training has been thorough. Most start-ups don't have this piece down.

      Cons

      No Cons to report. Typical small start-up stuff; fast paced, SOPs are being written on the fly and a lot of information to assimilate.
