Sinking ship

Pros

Had decent base pay at least for US employees. I’m not sure if the pay is good for the people who are picking up the work now that they’re outsourcing. I had a good experience with my coworkers and managers.

Cons

It’s falling apart. They are outsourcing and they haven’t been able to achieve their stated internal engineering goals, develop new features, or hit sales targets. A bit bizarre because signs seemed good until recently so I can only attribute this to upper level mismanagement. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

It's Fine

Pros

Decent pay. The usual start-up amenities and vibe. Positive work culture. If you're "in", it's a good gig.

Cons

Very cliquish, weighted in favor of in-office staff; if you're remote, you're at high risk of being cut in the next lay-offs (and there's always another round of lay-offs). Sales-focused to the detriment of all other teams and workload. Lack of vision - if it's not pinned to profit, forget about it.

Pretty from the outside...

Pros

Great pay and benefits and a pretty view from the office.

Cons

Where to start... when it comes to the sales department, senior leadership is horrible. From Director level and above, nobody can be trusted and there isn't a single soul who actually understands how to run a sales team. Some senior level managers and directors have been caught making up lies about other managers to get them fired, trying to secure their own positions with all the layoffs. One example, a very good manager was fired for allegedly bringing a weapon to work, even though the investigation came up with evidence it never happened. There are inconsistent and unclear communication from top down and everybody is pointing a finger at somebody else instead of owning their business. They are forcing everyone to be 5 days in the office, and anyone who is not able to be physically in the office are stuck in the positions they have- there is no advancement opportunity unless you can be in the office. There is no parking at the Seatlly office, you will be waitlisted for months and forced to park offsite and walk over. Senior managers and HR turn a blind eye when reps are being harassed or bullied by other managers. Quotas go up without warning, which then affects paychecks and commissions... Overall I am very concerned with the culture that has been created. Run far far away. The CEO hosts lunch and learns where people can ask him questions, but if he doesn't know an answer, he verbally attacks the person who answers it. They hired a guest speaker for their sales event in March who told a girl in front of thousands of people that "she didn't have what it took" and berated her in front of everyone. Like I said.. run!
