- great chasm between ICs and anyone above a Senior Manager. - Leadership is either brand new, ruthless, or plain disconnected - this quarter you'll have this person, next quarter they're gone, then your whole company and product strategy takes a turn. - Product and Engineering ops are overheating - hirings and firings are done like there's no cost to any of it - the company burns money like a furnace and the only optimisation or shoring up is done by firing people and/or moving roles to India. - the absolute worst: the infighting and land grabbing up top.
