      Pros

      - People tend to be very motivated by the mission of the company and delivering exceptional experiences for customers - Impressive and well rounded leadership team - Bringing in good talent is a top priority and it shows in the wider team - People are easy to get along with, receptive to feedback and willing to teach and learn - In EPD, people seem particularly adept at remote work - async communication, high quality meetings, written documentation - Steady growth

      Cons

      - Depends on how one likes to work, I think there's more structure than a typical company at this stage but still growing pains and things coming together. It's also remote first, though executive leadership is mostly in SF.

      Pros

      - Never have felt micro-managed in the slightest, Owner rewards self-motivated engineers who are hungry and curious - Excellent founders, Adam and Dean are the most talented founders I've ever met. Their drive to "win" rubs off on everyone else. - It is extremely rewarding for ICs; you get to see, hear, and experience the tangible benefits that your code brings to restaurants.

      Cons

      - Individuals that are not highly self-motivated will have a hard time, you have to be willing to grow yourself with the company.

      Pros

      This is a company with high expectations and higher rewards. It feels great to work somewhere that really makes a tangible difference in the lives of our customers. The team is truly world class, so you have every opportunity to stretch yourself and grow, and if you do so then the company is amazing at recognizing accomplishments. Leadership is really on the ball, and my manager has been amazing.

      Cons

      The work/life balance is definitely better elsewhere, but that's part of the deal with many startups
