Majority of the time there is a low workload, so usually time to work on personal homework assignments or watch Netflix. Full flexibility in choosing a schedule. Can work anytime of day.

Cons

Sometimes shifts become hectic with student surges. It can be stressful solving a high-school coding assignment, calculus assignment, and physics assignment at the same time. The pay rubric is also constantly being updated, so our promised annual salary updates keep getting delayed. Also they are making the job less personal by assigning hundreds of tutors to one manager. This has been the case since their mass lay-offs.

Cons

Not as helpful an organization as it's made out to be. Too many tutors. Not valued at all. Ridiculous/strict rubric -- I think they just want rubrics.
