Pros
- fulfilling to teach students and help them understand the subject more deeply - management seems nice and friendly, are generally understanding - there are pay increases (up to 18/ hr) based on your hours and performance, although it requires over 2k hours to get to that point - you report your availability and you'll never be scheduled outside of that
Cons
- it gets way too stressful with up to 4 students at a time sometimes, there is almost no way to be an attentive and good tutor in this circumstance, so you end feeling like a bad tutor and the student(s) gets frustrated. - the pay is way too little considering the job, starts at 15. normal tutoring jobs start at 17 and those are one on one.
