Pros
They pay OK. On par with competitive roles in the industry. You can work from anywhere, but that means you will be expected to work from anywhere even when there should be a boundary between work and home life.
Cons
They ignore concerns raised by employees. Expect subordinates to train their superiors while understanding the difficult and vulnerable position that puts the PC in. I felt like I was disposable labor. Treated like disposable labor. They use excel for everything and there process is wrought with redundancy and potential for errors. Be careful if you say that to the wrong person. I have been on calls with profanity and contentious and unprofessional behavior from my internal team and the client. Internal team is unresponsive to attempts to gain direction critical to maintaining the project goals. My boss has invested nothing in my growth, development , and provided no feedback in 8 months. I suspect there are some ethical issues higher up but I don’t know for sure. But something isn’t right up there and I feel concerns about the ethics and if folks are acting in the best interests of our clients. No room for growth. PC’s have been PC’s for yearsss. The goals and goal posts move on a whim without communicating or valid reasoning. In my short time with this company, I can count 6 people who have left in less than a year. There aren’t that many employees to start with, and the pay is reasonable so for most of us, it’s due to the toxicity of the work environment.
