At PFP, we show appreciation to employees in many ways from special events, recognition and rewards, performance and merit increases to a “profit sharing" bonus. We do not provide a Christmas bonus but rather a “profit sharing” bonus. This is done to recognize our diverse workforce and acknowledge everyone’s contribution to the company’s success. Our company goal targets begin on January 1 and run through December 31 of the same year. For the past several years, we have made or been close to our target and the company has generously shared in the profits of the company at the highest level with its employees. Additionally, there is a profit sharing link updated regularly, by our CFO which helps employees to be aware if we are on target or not. This comment will help us to look closer at the time of distribution and discuss further. Again, we appreciate all the good work our employees have delivered in 2016 and are pleased to share in the profits.

Pros

PFP strives to make a fun family type environment. They have great employee incentives.

Cons

This is a company where favoritism runs rampart. It's all about who likes you with this company. If you are not one of the "favs" then you never get ahead or get recognized. Also there is no confidentiality between managers and employees. Unfortunately telling a manager something in confidence does not exist. Supervisors are not trained properly on how to talk to their employees and give proper coaching. Promotions are not given based on merit.

Ouch! We like to think we favor all of our employees like valued family members on one big team where each person is a contributor. The employee/manager professional relationships is encouraged. In fact, we empower our employees and managers to work together on internal promotions and new opportunity as well as the opportunity to get recognized. Thank you for your feedback.

Pros

One of the few base salary plus commission income opportunities with full benefits and advancement in organization.

Cons

Direct sales in a credit union with A LOT of rejection. You have to be a treasure hunter and keep a positive attitude to get people to talk with you all day, every day.

Thank you for your feedback. We do work with all of our employees to develop their career both on an individual, departmental and organizational level. While we never intend to overlook anyone, the door is open with our Organizational Development leader to discuss individual plans and the deliverables to advance.
