Horrible Leadership

Pros

Golf benefits are decent and nice discounts on equiptment.

Cons

Horrific leadership from upper management. This company appears to be led by a group of incredibly incompetent and ignorant executives. Their inability to accurately forecast their business is comical. Now they are going to be eliminating some full-time positions and offering severance packages for employees to leave. Absolutely disgusting to see the mis-management from this group. This will only get worse unfortunately.

Pros

My schedule is consistent, mostly left to do my job and take care of customers. There are good discounts from the vendors, training opportunities, and some very good people. Paychecks are never late, benefits are a solid 7.5/10,

Cons

-Communication from Corporate is abysmal -Nobody is on the same page -They are rushing to open as many stores as possible, culture is dying rapidly -They don't follow their own core values anymore Everything is turning into growing pains, and efficiency metrics, yet can't track them correctly. The home office senior leadership team is having HUGE changes made by people who have never been in the roles they are making changes to. It has become extremely frustrating with the kind of changes they are trying to make. They no longer seek any input from store level up, they direct from their perch, and scream "we are a family" and it is just plain insulting. It was a great company to work for. Serious changes need to happen with upper management and top senior leadership. There are a few very rotten apples.

Just don't

Pros

Get to see and play with a lot of new golf tech and discounts for local golf courses

Cons

Not sure where to begin. Started with the company with store #2 and the first several years were amazing. Family type atmosphere, growth, fun environment, and great communication. As the company grew larger and larger, the smaller the people became and it became very evident over time. You became a number. When you struggle with something, no training to help, just move you somewhere else as a silent demotion. After everything I contributed to the company, no exit interview after well over a decade with the company. Best thing I could have ever done was leave and instantly doubled my salary switching careers. Great first job for a kid but not a good career choice.
