Pros

The company has a lot of perks.....They are growing rapidly, which leads to a lot of promotions (mostly outside hires) and they offer great benefits. Unfortunately, They preach a culture that sounds great on paper but most people at the Corporate Office do not live it. The stores that have good leadership maintain and instill the values of the company, but that is always overlooked outside the store level. The District level Management tends to focus on the negatives and ignore the positives. This is mainly because they are taking criticism from individuals at the Corporate Office who have never worked in a retail environment and don't understand the challenges associates have on a day to day basis. Outside of the store level there is a lot of backstabbing, gossip and name bashing. Their expectations for the store level leadership team is unrealistic, especially when they do not give you the resources you need to be successful. They continue to cut hours from the stores (which hinders customer service and the overall store appearance), however they are always adding nonessential positions to the Corporate Office. People from Corporate tend to spend most of their time on conference calls that are not significant to the everyday retail business and seem to be huge time-wasters. They need to focus more on supporting the stores and get back to the values they claim to be about.

Pros

There are no pros now. They do not care about their employees who have mouths to feed, family’s to support, houses to keep a roof over family’s head, and our life and bills

Cons

I have been with this company for over 6 years. They just cut every full time employee to part time ! Not ok! On top of that they took $1 off my hourly pay. I bend over backwards for this company and for them to take my lifestyle away where I and many other employees will be suffering is horrible and selfish. I thought this company cared but clearly they do not. Shame on them !
