Pros

Wonderful coworkers, downtime, decent benefits (minus PTO)

Cons

No overtime pay, increased work hours, horrible amount of PTO for Air medical crews (168 hours equates to 7 days of sick/vacation for a decade long employee),clueless and careless management, lack of fairness (if you’re friends with manager you get a pass on disciplinary actions)

Pros

Decent time off Pay is fair Benefits are fair

Cons

Leadership change in the last year has changed the culture of the company to make them seem more profit driven and less patient care driven. Those working directly with patients seem to be the only ones left who care about the patients while management seems to only care about running the company as lean as possible to drive up profits for the investors. The board of directors uses fear as their mode to gain employee compliance.

Pros

They have signing bonuses for new hires.

Cons

They don't give bonuses to people that work all the admin positions, and wear several hats, and do multiple jobs. They give bonuses only to those at the bases - pilot, mechanics, clinicians, or in Patient Financial Services. Those PFS folks work the hardest and are paid the least. They have had 3 layoffs in 4 years and they didn't replace the people, meaning everyone still there now has triple the work.
