Very little opportunity for advancement. Mostly all males in management positions. Yearly salary increases are very low- despite good performance - you are stuck close to your original salary for the remainder of time you are with the company so negotiate wisely if you choose to take a position....

Pros

A very ethical company, that has excellent business practices. Progressive regarding care trends in workers comp, especially their pharmacy review program. My office co-workers are very collaborative though in a different silo. We work together to provide injured workers with the best care for their recovery.

Cons

My dept management silo is very micromanaging. They squelch independent thinking or responding to local requests for education, and/or customer contact, which resuslts in those requests not being provided. My silo does not utilize all the levels of expertise within our team. Very little ability to work remotely.
