The lab floor has a good community and is pretty safe.

Cons

The work was very repetitive and boring. Loading and running samples all day is very tedious.

It's a small company so it's easy to get to know your peers and upper management has an open door policy when they are in the building. Good perks like monthly employee appreciation meals, free soda, various events and contests. There is a lot of room for advancement in Indianapolis and the company loves to promote from within.

Cons

High turnover in specific positions. Lean methodology is promoted throughout the company, but not practiced well. There is little accountability. Missed metrics, late deadlines, etc. are often brushed under the rug, which is preventing the company from truly excelling. As it is a small company, it can sometimes feel like high school with gossip and cliques at all levels of the organization. Be careful who you trust. Some employees are bulletproof and disagreeing with them will not be favorable for you. The company is very ambitious, but takes on too many major projects with accellerated timelines and lack of staff.
