Pros

- Coworkers are friendly, dependable, and open minded. - Work environment was very welcoming during onboarding and shifts.

Cons

- Part-time employees are limited to a max on hours per week to deviate the company from giving them actual benefits like insurance. - Further elaborating on that, part-time employees get no actual benefits (like insurance, store discounts, incentives). - Mangement skews perspectives to fit their narrative and agenda. - Favoritism is prominent in Popmart, and management does not try to hide it. - Management is under-qualified to even initiate communication to employees, but will express it to other employees. - District management is a joke. All that's needed to be said. - Store traffic, especially on weekends, can be very hectic. Corporate expects you to not only handle upset bashing customers, but also be security.

Pros

• Coworkers on the ground level can be supportive. • If you love Popmart products, you’ll learn a lot about the brand.

Cons

• Absolutely no employee discounts or benefits, you can’t purchase hot products not even online lol • Upper management shows blatant favoritism, hiring friends and connections over qualified candidates. • District managers are unprofessional, condescending. • Constant changes in rules with no clear communication. • Hardworking employees are undervalued while favoritism gets rewarded. • Staff are held responsible for stolen items, instead of hiring proper security, sales associates are expected to catch thieves on top of the chaos. • Environment feels like surveillance — staff are constantly watched. • Frontline employees take the brunt of customer frustration (no bags, sold-out items like Labubu) with little support from leadership.
