Pros

Co-workers are great to work with. Flight benefits.

Cons

Pilot and flight attendant salaries are below industry average. Management sets unrealistic goals and points the finger at crew members for in-efficencies. Company uses a point system, if you call out sick, you get points. Too many points and you could be fired. Flight attendants can be on duty for more than 14hours a day (not on the clock). No compassion for employees. We are treated as replaceable if we don't do what they say.

Good for starting out.

Pros

Good equipment, fast upgrades. Good starting pay, but never gets really good like Endeavor.

Cons

Management slow to enforce company policies and won’t back up Captains that try to do so. They need people so badly that they put up with slackers and bad employees which unfortunately rubs off on others. There are a lot of good and talented people here but they get tired of giving 100% when others do very little and get away with it. Could be an industry leading airline if they grew a backbone.

Pros

They try to make it fun. The flight benefits are nice. That's really it.

Cons

People in the office are SUPER cliquey. They'll make plans in front of you and fail to include you and leave you out of conversations. For part time employee's.. there really was nothing good. They didn't have a clock in/out system. They'd ask you to stay extra hours (that you didn't get paid for) - they would use it as 'comp time' and use it when you needed time off. Which was okay. They don't give you the resources you may need as a part time employee- as a part time employeee I felt as funny his should have been full time.. or AT LEAST provided with a laptop in case I needed it at home with the work I was doing. No training or development plan. Absolutely NO part time benefits worth while besides the flight benefits. Which still wasn't worth it because I'm finding out through new employment that part time benefits can be amazing. I.e. Paid time off, sick days, paid vacation AND tuition assistance, daycare assistance and adoption assistance. PSA puts up a good front about caring for their employees - but they don't.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. An inclusive and fair environment is incredibly important to our company and we encourage team members to speak to their managers if they encounter a situation where team habits aren’t in line with the goals and vision of our company. Part time roles include several unique characteristics including differences in pay and benefits. We consistently evaluate where part-time opportunities make sense within our business and will evolve these roles as we grow.
