Pros

Decent salary for MFT intern/ASW and benefits are good.

Cons

If you are looking to build clinical skills do not work at Pacific Clinics. As most reviews indicate, productivity is of paramount importance and the development of clinicians is last priority. Clinicians are over worked and spend so much time on DMH paperwork that very little time is spent on the actual treatment. You are expected to have 30-32 clients and this is not possible given that some client's require a lot of attention. Any agency that contracts with DMH has this type or similar work load, I've worked for other DMH contracted agencies, however, Pacific Clinics by far is the worst. I do not believe Pacific Clinics is vested in advancing behavioral healthcare, as their motto states, instead I believe they are more concerned with advancing their bottom line. I am gravely disappointed in Pacific Clinics and the lack of support & development they provide to clinicians, it is a horrible place to work and this is evidenced by the extremely high turnover.

Pros

Supportive team, clients are easy to work with for the most part, they do offer benefits but they aren’t great in comparison to other organizations

Cons

Heavy caseloads, high turnover, unsupportive management, higher ups are extremely out of touch, unrealistic billing expectations, lots of travel, constantly being asked to do things outside of your job description, and remote work is not an option depending on your role

Pros

Benefits, Office, schedule, front desk.

Cons

Dismal pay, poor EHR, browbeating supervisor who got off on forcing a more seasoned clinician than herself how to write notes: deleting everything and starting over. No sense of belonging or purpose. Very low-functioning clientele.
