Pros

Great colleagues to support you, enjoyed working in multidisciplinary team, helping kids and families, flexibility due to creating own schedule most of the time. Good PTO. Potential to be a great place to work if they would have upper management that actually took care of their employees.

Cons

Need support? Have questions? Still need additional training? Need training just in general? Overwhelmed with paperwork and documentation and stacks of tasks? Burnt out? Well here’s more work to do and given deadline. Don’t count on management, much less upper management. Unfortunately, there’s people that were promoted that should have never been promoted! Understaffed, underpaid, under appreciated, but definitely over worked. High turnover, if short staffed, guess what you will be doing the job if 2-3 people. Don’t count on bonuses, much less raises. They will look away when it comes to raises but don’t think twice to rack up work. Favoritism, I’ve seen and heard people do shady things but get away with it, and the good workers do mistakes and get reprimanded. The new hires get lost easily because the poor training, they end up being stressed and burn out faster than birthday candle. But they just don’t care. I do not recommend working here unless they do something about upper management, and make other changes to care for their employees and ultimately our clients.

Pros

Decent benefits, short commute, occasional outside events

Cons

Once the management changed, it was all downhill, the new regime was all about reducing headcount, so they could pay for all the unnecessary executive vice presidents. What kind of company employs a consultant whose only function is to keep employees salaries as low as possible? This one!

Pros

good health care benefits and coworkers, who unfortunately provide the only support and supervision.

Cons

Bad management; poor structure, direction, working after work hours; rules that make no sense such as decrease of latency of notes after covid, more paperwork after covid, more productivity demands after covid (when telehealth sessions tend to be shorter); not having empathy when clinicians have unexpected emergencies such as wifi outage/getting sick unexpectedly and blaming them for the emergencies and telling them to take less sick days when supervisors are taking more sick days, calling people out when they leave, and going along with abuse from top down.
