Pros

Great experience applied with diverse population.

Cons

The company is simply a "med-cal" billing factory! They overworked you beyond your ability to perform your job efficiently, leafing to high rotation of employees, from case managers to therapist. The company gets frequent state audits which ends of many employees and managers been fired or "removed" due to not producing . You will have to meet your numbers within a couple months of being hired. Benefits are competitive, but they keep changing without respecting your contract. If you interested in this company keep in mind is just for the experience and make an exit plan! The only ones who have a great salary are the Managers and CEO / Board ! stress level is VERY hight! Talk to some of the employees when you get your interview., or you could be a client there pretty soon!!!

Pros

Training is provided and encouraged constantly, supervisors are supportive, good medical and fringe benefits, like educational leave, bereavement, vacation and sick time.

Cons

As a county contracted agency there is ALWAYS the threat of the county taking away the contract and billables become the priority over clients and especially staff well being. Many positions have high turnover and burn out rates because of this, expectations placed on staff are unrealistic and lead to disgruntled employees who leave the first chance they get.
