Coworkers were great it felt like a team

Cons

If you work for a FSP program they will drain you and the rules are always changing. Most people quit within 1 or 2 years and you only get a few cents of a raise despite of being one of the most burnout jobs you will ever have There is no room for growth

Client Interface. There is an opportunity to help those most needy.

Cons

Staff are seen as expendable. Unless you are an executive, expect to be paid poorly, which is why the cannot keep people and those who they keep are do not rank as best and brightest. Those people leave. Instead, there is a lot of politics, CYA on all levels, lack of trust, a lot of lip service, marketing and a lot of "do what I say, not what I do" from management. Upper management delegate all of their work and responsibilities down the bureaucratic chain leaving line staff completely overwhelmed and blamed for not being able to get work done. All of this leads to overall poor morale issues.

Paid holidays, vacation and sick days, good entry level job in higher education

Cons

One of the worst responses to workplace discontent by upper management. Management did not value staff at all. Little to no upward mobility. Micromanaging is the culture and takes a toll on employees' mental health. They don't care about their employees and throw them under the bus. If you challenge them at all, they are quick to threaten to bring in higher management.
