Pros

Co-workers are wonderful and supportive, but mostly only at same level of position

Cons

The agency doesn't care about its therapists. Therapists have to be flexible and willing to work all the time, but are not given any flexibility for work or personal issues. The billable expectations are unrealistic and this is completely ignored by management. People usually stay for about two years, get burned out, angry, and leave. Management doesn't seem to care about turn over - about 90% every two years. really the pace is only sustainable for about the two years - it's not sustainable. People feel expendable and management looks the other way - even though they "say" we're their most important asset.

Pros

Working here has no pros. Zero. Tried really hard to think of a pro but cannot.

Cons

Therapist gets low pay, while CEO gets $500k, executives all get well over $200k. Site directors get $100K plus. All get bonuses on top of that. Therapists who meet or exceed billing expectations get $10 giftcard to in n out. Quality of care sucks, management sucks, supervision sucks, support sucks.

Pros

On the rare occasion when you get good co workers and management. They are the backbone for this work. Making your own schedule.

Cons

Awful, terrible, disrespectful, unprofessional and gaslighting management. I have never felt so bullied in my life by a bunch of people who don't care about about the clients nor staff. If you had a really intense client emergency, all they would ask is "did you bill for it?" completely dismissing or offering debriefing. I feel like I could have been shot in the arm and went to report it to my boss and they would also just ignore it and ask which code I will be billing my shooting under. You're just another dollar sign to them and a small one too unless you're an alien and can reach they outrageous and truly unrealistic billing expectations. I am fully aware that this is a paper pushing job, but bottom line is that we work IN mental health, yet they sadly are blind to respecting ours. How can we help others if we are beaten down on a daily basis?
