Pros

The recognizes non-sales individuals contribution. Champion Club award is for everyone, and not only for sales. Those type of awards are only for sales team who overachieved quota, but at PagerDuty, they see the ARR attainment cannot realized by sales only hence there are many award winners from outside of sales.

Cons

As the revenue number struggles, its culture has deteriorated. Psychological safety is lost and HR does not care about employees but rather, they tries to push them out of the company.

Ongoing layoffs for the past 3 years

Pros

There are some good people you’ll meet at PagerDuty. They might not be there for long though.

Cons

Beware of layoffs that have been happening bi-annually months for the past 2-3 years. Leaders tout a growth mindset, but growth is hard to achieve without any semblance of stability in team structure, priorities, or processes. Leaders can’t decide what they want to focus their energy on which results in priorities changing every 6 months or so.
