Pros

Wellness days Hibernation duty in December

Cons

This place has not been a great place to work for the last few years. The culture went from people-first to company-first. They don’t invest in their people and morale is low. The culture is toxic and so many people are scared to make decisions. Leadership lacks alignment and it shows in every area of the business. Tech is a challenging environment to work in right now and most people are hanging tight until they are laid off or the market changes.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We value all feedback as it helps us understand the experiences of our employees. At PagerDuty, we are committed to providing the best possible experience for our customers. We also know this cannot happen until we cultivate a culture rooted in our values so that every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to our company objectives. We have implemented specific decision making company norms, and forums/processes to ensure alignment across the company, and we are dedicated to continuous improvement. We appreciate receiving open and honest feedback, and we would like to understand your concerns further, including any concerns regarding toxic behaviors. We have a strict no retaliation policy, and we will not tolerate retaliation of any kind because an employee in good faith raises a question or concern. You have multiple outlets by which you can share your concerns. You may reach out to your direct manager (if you are comfortable) or any People Manager, your HRBP, or you may submit a complaint, with an option to remain anonymous, via our third-party hosted hotline online at www.pagerduty.ethicspoint.com. We also encourage you to share your feedback in our employee engagement survey.
