Pros

1 or 2 departments are lead by good management. flexible work hours. good people for the most part.

Cons

older, "jaded" upper management with sometimes "1950's management style" abusive tactics. no real direction, constant change to strategy, low morale, many overwhelmed at their positions within the company, each department is its own entity and does not work together well, very poor communication - a "hurry up and get it done" attitude, but impossible time constraints, constant "meetings" requiring many levels of presentation and expectations don't allow it

Pros

Great product set leading in their specific industry. Ideas are encouraged by management and implemented when possible. Everyone is always working towards a common goal and there's great inter-departmental synergy. Great co-workers that help each other out all the time.

Cons

As a relatively small company, career advancement is very limited. We seem to be very top heavy from a management stand point.

Pros

Medium size privately held company with a large global footprint. Knowledgeable managers/leaders who care about their employees and career ambitions. Compensation and benefits are fantastic for the industry. Very team orientated where your opinion matters.

Cons

Company leaders work with non-performers longer than I feel is necessary. Communication at times appears to be not entirely forthcoming/timely. Work loads at times can be overwhelming.
