The cons overwhelm the pros so nothing to add here.

Cons

Managers do their best to squeeze the blood and sweat out of every single employee. It is next to impossible to get vacation. Work hours extend to nights regularly, most weekends, and most holidays. Managers use you as a slave resource and have no respect for your personal time. This is not limited to few managers but a company-wide culture. There is zero learning to advance your career. You are expected to do your job without asking any questions. Whatever you are able to figure out, it applies only to the company’s antiquated, proprietary process that is not found anywhere else. Senior managers are not knowledgeable and play lots of politics at the expense of employees. They will never give credit for your good work but focus on projecting everything good as their own idea but everything bad as the fault of lower employees. Parallon is all about getting more out of employees for less. HR is there to protect the company. Run instead of walk away if you’re even thinking about applying for a position in this company.

Pros

It is a game of hot potato if you like this game.

Cons

Everyone for themselves. Everyone is avoiding work, pushing their work onto someone else. Sometimes it is a real hot, hot potato and it explodes. The old timers know this and will pass on the hot potato as quickly as possible. Someone will be left holding the bag. The unsuspecting victim will be blamed for everything, written up, and terminated. Every day is a new hot potato and a new scapegoat.

Pros

There is a lot of turnover, so that means there is a huge need for hiring people.

Cons

There is only lip service paid to employee development, work life balance, benefits and pay, promotion, training. The culture is very punitive, negative personal attacks, and blame-focused. Not focused on learning or improving. There is staff turnover of entire departments on a regular basis. It is very low pay, extremely stressful, dead-end career.
