Pros
Parallon is a great place to work for experience. It is a very fast paced environment and you do a lot! Great way to build up your resume. I also worked in a very cohesive and supportive environment which was great and makes a big difference. There is a lot of opportunity for growth, should you choose to stay with Parallon or branch off to HCA (as I did). The health insurance and company 401(k) match is great!
Cons
The pay is competitive for most of the staff level positions but not exempt level. A quarterly incentive is given but it's not much. Up to $300/quarter, key words "up to." For my department there were also still quite a few manual, time consuming reports but that may not be the case for all departments. Senior managemen at our shared service center was not the most welcoming and friendly.
