Pros

Promoted work/ life balance. Technology and tools to perform job was good.

Cons

Daily working environment was similar to walking thru a cemetary at midnight. Work directed by management was inconsistent with meeting the needs of the customer, but more to make their metrics and polished appearance. High turnover within division, due to inexperienced middle management.

Pros

I joined Parallon when it was a start-up called All About Staffing started by an RN and one Developer, who wrote a staffing program that replaced the magnetic whiteboard. HCA soon implemented that program nation-wide and elevated that Developer to Director of Development, then VP of IT, and later Chief Information Officer. HCA then rebranded AAS as Parallon and began to offer its flagship software applications to external clients. I was so happy to be part of the success of Parallon.

Cons

The transition from All About Staffing to Parallon was difficult, but the Development Group was up to the challenge. However, most members of the original group are no longer with the company, including the orginal Founder and Developer who later became the CIO.

Pros

you get paid every 2 weeks

Cons

low pay, non existent communication, do not train you properly and set a high daily quota and expect you to meet it. Numbers driven. You are tied to your desk for 8 hrs except for 2 15 min breaks and your 30 min lunch. They give you holidays but then require to come in and make up for it to catch up. What is the point of the holiday? You are just a drone, you come to work, sit at your desk for 8 hrs and go home. no interaction between co workers. People apparently dig this, I dont.
