Pros

- Flexible hours. - Work from home (or anywhere else for that matter). - No commitment required. - Sharing information about your own community.

Cons

- Low pay for freelance ($25 to 50 per article). - Hard to get hold of management via phone and/or email and no central office is provided. - Inconsistent payments. - Management plays favorites among writers, resulting in unsteady income and unsteady work.

Pros

- work culture (work hard, play hard, respect each other) - we're all in it together - feels like we're part of something bigger - opportunities far outweigh challenges - strong set of resources - experience and guidance of colleagues

Cons

- long hours (isn't any worthwhile job, though?) - still building profile, sometimes confused for AOL - spread out over whole country, not a lot of in-person interaction with colleagues
