Pros

If you can build a relationship with the participants it's worth it.

Cons

You are expected to take a lot of flack from participants and honestly worn out staff can make it hard too.

Pros

Original nurses, aides, and direct management are the best but are grossly overworked and underappreciated

Cons

CHI (Catholic Health Initiative) bought out Pathways recently and has systematically fired Hospice doctors, senior Social Workers and long time, loyal administrative staff with no notice, just an impersonal phone call. In my opinion the previous CEO Barbara Burgess I'm sure got a big payout and threw Pathways under the bus. Sure hope there is karma.
