Pros

- Actually unlimited PTO - Paid healthcare (although it's UHC, so you might just prefer to spend money not having to deal with that) - My team is great & I believe in my manager standing up for them.

Cons

- Biggest one is the upcoming IPO. You can tell by the shift in culture and the sudden changes in messaging that it will soon go downhill. Hiring each year instantly stopped, starting marking OKR's for each team & member. They will eventually be looking to trim the fat each quarter as is their obligation to shareholders. Paradise isn't forever I suppose. - It didn't take long to realize I was hired in at a wage lower than my peers, even those below me. I do believe in negotiation, etc., so I won't pin this 100% on them, but it doesn't make it feel much better! Department specific: - Even as low as middle management doesn't seem to be in touch. Constantly finding new ways to make everyone less efficient at their jobs in order to have new ways to justify reducing costs with new analytics. The only reason to be happy that a new product was onboarded is you get to imagine the sales person who got sent on a cruise once we got it. - Our teams all have genuinely smart people who are experts on their products. It sucks that it won't matter because you'll go on the MSP subreddit and see people trashing us and calling us messengers for the vendors, because that is what the sales team tells partners.

Pros

- Some people are great, especially the ones that came from Microsoft. - A way to get started in technology. - Some roles have unique travel opportunities.

Cons

- Saw bullies get promoted. - Saw leaders lie and lose accounts. - Seemed like some people mattered way more than others. - A lot of promises and waiting. - Not set up for success with internal position interviews. - Witnessed the CEO yell at someone for my own promotion. - At times asked to hand things over to other teams. Or saw others get support for things I looked to get started. - I was told a few times about replaceability to some degree. But also being told to assume positive intent with the above going on.

Too Much Change and Entitled leaders

Pros

Free food and drinks when you show up to the office is probably the only pro I can think of.

Cons

This company moves too fast and tries to jam initiative after initiative down their employees throats. Nothing is baked out and falls flat and then they try to put lipstick on pig and roll out something similar again shortly after. I have never encountered so many leaders who feel their are so entitled in my entire career. Many have grown with the org and have no business being in the roles they are in. Most can't even handle simple conversations with their employees and are overpaid for the work they are doing. Many don't even have foresight skills to look into the future to lead their teams effectively. They will try to sell you on they are growing fast, but they can't even scale appropriately to support their current employee base. Buyer beware of this place!
