Pros

- best platform - best trajectory in the space - “okay compensation” see cons because the only pros are the medium (platform) -goal of this org is “Wal Mart” of tech

Cons

- abilities and skill sets don’t match compensation - “buddy” company that promotes friends over competency - bully tactics run rampant - too big too fail - kept watching phenomenal talent leave because everything I’m saying is true. Facts don’t lie. - more into social appeasement than professional acumen and skill sets -impostor syndrome everywhere -there’s a whole party subculture that determines professional outcome. Drug abuse in leadership -integrity isn’t PAX8’s thing. Showmanship is. -multiple MSPs are recognizing pax8 is full of gen z party employees- brand is bad in the space- not professional -go message 7 people in this position on LinkedIn and find out for yourself

Echo entitled leadership and a mess of initatives

Pros

Lunch and snacks in the office are nice. Work from home for those who can actually use this perk.

Cons

In 25 years of my career I have never worked for leadership that lacks as much empathy and the leaders at Pax8. Its an ego fest of leaders trying to prove how important they are. They do not listen or recognize their teams. If they do its in an artificial way with no real backing. Many leaders came over with the Wire Hive acquisition that shouldn't have. Pax8 needs to clean house of egos and bad managers. Hire leaders who inspire people. They say we need to keep up with the change of the market. Fair. However, Pax8 rolls out unnecessary changes with no real strategic plan. Each team works in a silo just rolling out new tools and iniatives. Also, pick between slack or teams to communicate internally. The culture is a mess for various reasons but the largest is because their is no cohesive internal communication platform and everyone is working is a silo which each manager trying to prove how important they are. Its a mess. A old school boys club echo maniac mess.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We value hearing from our people even when it's tough to read. We’re glad to hear you value some of the benefits we offer, such as in-office perks and flexible work options. These are part of our ongoing efforts to support wellbeing and create a positive employee experience. In terms of your concerns about leadership and communication - we acknowledge that as Pax8 has grown and evolved - some of our internal processes and ways of working have not always landed as intended. We are actively working to improve cross-functional collaboration and reduce silos, and we know there’s more to do. Your feedback on leadership empathy and communication is concerning. We are committed to building a culture where all employees feel heard, valued, and supported. We understand raising these types of challenges with a leader or manager can be uncomfortable, so if you do not feel able to raise this issue directly, please consider speaking to your People Business Partner . We value the opportunity to solve these problems together. Thank you for your contributions, we wish you every success in your role with us.

Pros

- Work/life balance - Benefits and compensation (I will explain more in Cons) - the peers you work with. The relationships I have built there I will have for the rest of my life. - A lot of the original higher ups and a few of the new ones. Lane was an incredible addition. - The mentorship and guidance I received from some of the higher ups. - Then there is the easy stuff. Coffee and beer on tap (after work hours). PaxSnax.

Cons

- Bad new hires, very top heavy - Failure to produce proper reporting from vendors over the years has resulted in improper compensation. Please do not try and rebuttal this. It absolutely happens and I have heard it is ongoing. - The open door policy is no longer as safe as it once was. People go to the higher ups and are turned away or their career is jeopardized because of it. - Trainings and directives that are handed down from people who have not experienced the role the are handing out these orders to results in a lack of understanding of sales processes. - An HR team that sides with management instead of trying to help both sides.

This was hard to read. I am hearing a sense of something lost coupled with a desire to see Pax8 live up to its promise. I appreciate your balanced view of your time, in particular the recognition of Lane’s positive impact and the mentorship you received weighed against your frustrations with changes in leadership approachability, reporting and processes in more recent years. We have made significant investments in leadership and sales training, sales technology and listening mechanisms over the last 24 months and will continue to seek Pax8er feedback on these topics to help us improve. We are dedicated to empowering colleagues and enhancing the work environment to reflect the positive culture that has been a hallmark of Pax8. Transparency and communication remain key priorities for us and we are driving continuous improvements in both of these areas. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and for your contributions to Pax8’s growth and success. I wish you well in your future endeavours.
