Pros

Really good healthcare and insurance Your individual manager always tries their best with whatever information or tools they have (they are just as limited for most things).

Cons

Working on Venmo’s side of the corporation, we don’t get all the benefits that ‘actual’ PayPal employees get. Venmo customer service employees are treated very poorly with little to no communication about changes or updates about the company. When you need information, the supervisors don’t know what’s going either so they send you in circles. We don’t have the same time off benefits or shifts as ‘actual’ PayPal employees. They used to preach about opportunities but since being here (4 years) the company has had less and less and now hire outside for more roles. Now, since working from home, there is a false sense of community and team- what is, is limited and it’s only out there so that the company can check that box. The turnover is so high that some teammates have gone through 5-8 managers in a single year.

Pros

Literally the only good thing here is their benefits, everything else sucks. Please beware of their lies.

Cons

Literally everything, they lied about how they treat employees. If you get covid once you're good but if it happens to someone you need to take care of after you are out of luck. Their pay increase is base on performance but every year they make it harder and harder to get a pay increase. Oh and the bonus, you used to get quarterly bonuses now it's yearly, literally anything to make sure they save money. They are firing those that have high hourly to hire people for less pay. I had no idea about Glassdoor until another person of color that's was let go for the same lie of a reason let me know. I definitely will be tell every other person I know that is dealing with this about know about this.

Pros

Name brand recognition for your resume

Cons

Leadership is rampant with sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and disgusting harassers, and HR spews fake sentiment and nonsense DEI efforts. So sad what they preach is no where accurate
