Pros

If you are a hard worker with a drive that never quits, look no further. Compensation is unlike anything you’ll ever see but this job is not for the weak willed. Paycom is the front runner for an industry that is not going anywhere soon. Continual improvements to their proprietary system sets them apart from any “competitor”

Cons

Extremely high stress but are rewarded for hard work and mental toughness. This is not an easy role but if you focus on goals and work harder than you ever have before this will be a dream job.

Department determines your work experience

Pros

The people I worked with were great. They help each other and worked hard. There are catered lunches every day for $4 and health insurance is $2 a month. There is a gym on-premises. The company does pay well.

Cons

Several departments, which have to do directly with new & existing clients, are high stress and there are never enough employees to handle the workload. Some departments have mandatory OT because of this excessive workload. The company is constantly interviewing, but has narrowed down the possible candidates with more or higher qualifications needed. The reasoning appears to be they believe the high turnover in these departments is due to not hiring "quality" people. They don't take ownership that part of the reason for high turnover is management of departments. Employees don't feel heard. This tends to make employees feel the company does not work on employee retention, rather they focus on replacement.
