      Money. And that's about it.

      Cult-like atmosphere (it is an actual thing to hear people say drink the kool-aid-I remember one VP telling us to follow Paycom with blind faith), delusional upper management requiring all meetings to be in person in an increasingly virtual world, resection/no starts can make it where you don't see your commission on deals for up to a year or at all (this happened to me twice-conveniently on my two biggest deals). If your main goal in life is to get rich and don't care how you get it, you've found your home. If not, you will find yourself dying inside a bit more each day. I recall when I was 23 looking in the mirror and finding a gray hair after having spent 2 years in this place. Paycom messes with your mind. They try to make you feel small and worthless if you aren't rich or won't buy into the lies upper management tells you. I ended up needing therapy toward the end of my time there.

      Sometimes you get a little extra protein in the food they cater…

      If you’re “too close to the sun” and aren’t preforming, you’ll just get demoted, moved to a different city, or get told by the CEO to go to in-patient therapy or leave the company. While the people who are making the company run by doing all the grunt work, get let go for breathing wrong. They are having massive firing sprees - and not paying a lick of severance. They simply DO NOT CARE. As a person who helped with hiring decisions, they’re all rigged. They make excuses for people they don’t like and only promote employees that leadership likes. They hold grudges FOREVER so if you mess up once and they find out, gooood luck! Notice how only the good reviews on here are from people in power. People are starting to put the koolaid down and open their eyes. This company is so jacked up (in my absolute nicest words) and I can’t wait to watch it crumble.
