Decent company

Pros

The company is decent, people genuinely want to help each other and our clients. The call center is one of the better ones I’ve worked in, but the experience really depends on your manager. I have been fortunate in that regard. Good PTO, but agree it’s hard to use. A lot of encouragement and support from management to usher advocates into different roles in the company once they hit a year. Fully remote. Foster a good atmosphere among employees, encourage you to reach out to others and help each other.

Cons

Legacy systems that never work, answer is to call IT, but it’s never really resolved. Company wide meetings that have “awards” which is basically management patting itself on the back, no recognition for the lower levels. Company makes changes to systems but never seems to actually get the input of the people on the front lines who have to deal with clients day to day to allieviate pain points clients and customer service have. Additionally, there are many client facing features and products that customer advocates are supposed to troubleshoot and assist with yet have no access to, blind leading the blind. Workload is heavy and emotionally exhausting, in addition to speaking with a high volume of clients, customer advocates also have to manage research and follow up of cases.

Hello and thank you for your review! It's great to hear that there is a good atmosphere among employees. We are glad that you feel there is a lot of encouragement and support from management to help advocates grow and advance in their roles. However, we are sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with legacy systems and that the company-wide meetings have not been as effective in recognizing the hard work of all employees, especially those at lower levels. We understand the importance of involving front-line employees in decisions regarding the system. Thank you for your valuable feedback, and we appreciate your suggestions. We will use this feedback to improve and continue to strive for a positive work environment for all employees.

Pros

A lot of PTO, but the black out dates make them hard to use. Management is hit or miss but my manager was amazing.

Cons

Out of touch higher ups. Requests not in line with their mission. Unyielding.

However, we are sorry to hear that you found the higher-ups to be out of touch and unyielding at times. Pros

1. Managers are great at empowering and developing those under them. They do well in establishing a connection that builds trust and communication, while helping their sellers have quality meetings with their clients and achieve quota. 2. At least on the Sales side, it is high energy and busy work but that is also met with empathy and understanding of how hard the role can be. 3. There is a true understanding that growth and success don't always happen over night.

Cons

1. The internal tech stack needs to be streamlined and organized to create more efficiency. Right now our internal tools are all over the place and will at times create headaches on where to go for an internal process. I believe this is being worked on, but it is something that needs to improve to only aid in further growth from the individual contributors. (pro tip...check out Vendr and Okta) 2. This isn't a huge deal but could be a conversation for improvement, and this with pay. If the job is both account/client management + selling to close new business, than the pay should reflect that. I say it is not a huge deal because the role is in line with industry average. However if you want to retain top talent and go after top talent, it wouldn't be the worst idea to bump the base (guaranteed) pay up a little higher.
