Pros

Paycor has helped me grow in so many ways over past 7 years. I couldnt be happier with where I am today and the contributions I get to make. Watching the growth has been the most amazing part. Everything this company says it is going to do ...it does and then some. They truly care about their people, the growth, the industry and making a difference. In my line of work, I get to share a story...this is the best story of all. Great work life balance Excellent Benefits Excellent growth pattern Ability to learn and execute Executives are very approachable and willing to listen and jump in Always looking to see what happens next People are always so welcoming Culture of growth and excitement

Cons

No cons to speak of other than I wish I got more time in Cincinnati. Excellent cafeteria and a lot of fun to be in that office!

Pros

Ability to have a flexible work schedule to come in early and leave early when needed. Really great sales reps on my team.

Cons

Senior leadership tries to manage every detail from the corporate office. I don't think they really have a clue as to what the field has to deal with on a daily basis. Micromanagement is an understatement. Many managers are promoted from within, and they should never be promoted. Some of the worst managers I have ever worked with. Company sales are down. They may publish that they are growing, but that's only because of current client revenue. More turnover than I have seen in my career. Check out their careers page, sales openings all over. I promise you it's not because they are adding territories. Managers continue to do the same thing over and over, expecting different results. From the top down, they only care about numbers. There are guiding principles here, but I do not see anyone living them. When I think about company culture, this is not what any company should strive for. Had I known any of this, I would have never come here.

Pros

Great place to work. Lots of learning opportunities. This is the company for those who likes fast paced environments. They use high-tech upto date technology to build the product. Fun place to work, lots of activities and celebrations. Good work life balance.

Cons

Too much fast paced environment. Priorities changes too often.

From our Director, Program Management: Thank you for sharing your Paycor experience. While we are a fast paced environment, we do balance our workload with team celebrations, ability to learn new technologies, training opportunities and have flexible work/life balance policies, including work from home. We still pride ourselves in being as nimble as a startup, even after 20 years in technology. We take pride in responding to our customer and market needs and adjust our priorities accordingly, but we continue to find ways to optimize and balance the changes. We are growing at a fast pace and are looking for talent to join our organization.
