Pros

Nice building and amenities. Love the cafeteria.

Cons

I worked a short time at Paycor and was overwhelmed by the work load and inability to move forward with new processes. As a member of the tax department there were some antiquated processes that caused a large number of notices. this is something that made the tax department look bad and was used as to paint the department in a negative light. I was difficult to move forward with new ideas with the large amount of negativity aimed at the tax department. The ancient processes used by the seasonal group was so inefficient that the company could have saved millions of dollars in one year by revamping these. Only the electronic processes were getting some attention and it may have been too late.

Pros

Remote work options are available

Cons

*Management team has no integrity. *Conditions of employment change weekly. *Overall compensation is bad. *Minimum 25% of your income is split with field individuals who may not lift one finger but is compensated based on territories. *5-10 hour mandatory weekly trainings are a waste of time. *50+ hour work weeks are required to keep up with all administrative conditions of employment. *Company surveys are given to voice your opinion about your manager but it a complete joke as this company does not take any feedback seriously. *Implementation department is too lean. Too many projects and not enough people to handle the workload equals many lost accounts. *First company that did not offer an exit interview (go figure an HR Payroll company with no exit interview...bad). *If you don't take vacation as a salaried individual, it is lost so take vacation before resigning. *Be sure to turn in all miles associated with your car allowance as they will tax you and try to take that income. *Total lie about 1:1 customer service and one number to call. Sadly, that number is the same number for all clients (30,000+). *Take care of the client first total lie. That depends on the client and the need. *Problems with invoicing and paying taxes on client's behalf correctly. In other words, RUN don't walk away from this company.

I am sorry to hear that your personal experience was dissatisfying. While we may not get everything right, we make every effort to listen to Associate concerns and to address them. We strive for an adult-adult relationship with Associates where we openly discuss what's getting in the way of success - for clients, for partners, and for Associates. It's why we ask for feedback, openly share results of surveys, and work closely with engagement teams on action plans. It's also why we have many avenues to voice interests and concerns - from senior leaders to front-line mangers to HR. We want Associates to come to us before considering other employment.
