Bubble has burst - Implementation

Pros

I am paid well for enduring the mismanagement and extreme hours. Company is in the middle of a learning experience but....

Cons

... the lesson won't stick. Implementation has been understaffed and incorrectly managed for years. Employees have been dramatically overworked and not provided the organization they need. Seasoned professionals objected and were forced out for it. The clients received terrible experiences. The bubble kept growing though as new clients were lured in by cheap prices and promises of great service. They came in faster than they left for a few years because of the sheer size of the sales force. But now the bubble has popped and Paycor had to lay off 10% of the staff. Time for reflection for them but it'll start over again soon. Got to build the bubble again for the IPO. I'm sure they'll have their timing right this time for the (golden) parachutes.

We specifically ask for candor and for constructive (sometimes passionate!) feedback. Pros

Good People at branch level.

Cons

Software is lagging behind competitors. Growing pains in trying to decide if they are a small business market company or a mid market company. Very reactive, not proactive. very micro managed at corp level. Big disconnect between corp and whats really happening in market and at branch level.

Our sellers have direct and open lines of communication with our leadership team, and our sales leaders and internal partners frequently rotate into the field. We encourage all team members to provide feedback and to be transparent. If associates let us know when something isn’t working , we listen and try to make timely improvements. We also proactively collect feedback from employees via multiple surveys throughout the year. Our results continue to tell a story that we’re proud to share about our work environment, our products, and our service. We continuously invest in our products to ensure we meet client needs in the expansive SMB market.
