Pros
No micro managing, make your own schedule, handle your own book of clients, great pay, time off when ever you need it. You build all different kinds of skills at Paylocity including organization, time management, sales, customer service, and many more. Paylocity listens to its employees and makes changes to the company and processes based on both employee and client feedback.

Pros
- Great work life balance - Everyone seems to care about you/client/team being successful - Excellent leaders who know what they are doing and fully support you and care +++++ - Great benefits - Weekly/bi-weekly 1-on-1s - Teamwork actually exists! - Open to change/improvements/enhancements. And they have a team that helps with this - Did not require travel at the time I was there - Set me up for success with decent remote package - Sends out lots of goodies throughout your employment - Client load was good and were mostly easy to work with. - Health benefits were competitive - 401k match could be a tad better. Mutual funds selection was good. - Pay on demand. I could receive accrued hours worked earlier.
Cons
- System is a bit behind competitors (Talent modules mostly). This impacted clients and put stress on consultants. - Stringent policies on referrals. I was left out of few referrals due to policies that were unclear or not communicated. - Vacation policy/PTO accrual is confusing. You also cannot go into negative balance (even if you would have enough by 12/31) which some of my disrupted vacation plans.
