Pros

Always snacks available (only reason why it's not 1 star).

Cons

This job is not flexible at all. You work 8-5 with no chance to change those hours to fit your schedule. Pay sucks. You read from a script. If you go "off script" it is frowned upon and get questioned by multiple people as to why you decided to not follow the script. Kinda like that scene from "The Office". You call at least 150 ppl a day, and new numbers do not get put into the system regularly so many people do not pick up because they recognize the number as a spam number. TURNOVER IS HUGE! Literally in 3 months half the people in your hiring class will be long gone, if not sooner. Technology is outdated, and use a crappy CRM system. High school like drama always going on.

Thank you for your feedback! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the Paylocity wellness snacks. We are disappointed to hear of your concerns regarding the job itself. The role you are referring to is a very data driven role and can be very fast paced and repetitive. There are many employees that enjoy this role and are very successful. To allow flexibility, eligible consistent high-performing employees enjoy the option to work from home one day per week. Being that the role is tedious at times, we strive to make the work environment fun and engaging for employees. Paylocity prides itself on being a Best Place to Work, which includes very frequent updates to the Paylocity technology as the industry is ever-changing as well as maintaining a professional work environment. We value your feedback and we will use it to make continuous improvements within Paylocity. If you would like to discuss your feedback in more detail, I would be happy to have a conversation with you. I can be reached at tpurifoy@paylocity.com

Pros

Paylocity has the best technology for the mid-market, HANDS DOWN! It's rare that Paylocity loses a deal in an honest evaluation. We have an amazing support culture where everyone, no matter their tenure or position, is willing to lend a helping hand when needed. The amount of money you can make at Paylocity is almost a little hard to believe especially considering you get to work from home. Paylocity is a dynamic organization which let's us switch gears quickly when a better approach to something is evident.

Cons

Make no mistake about it, this is a hard job. Your first year at Paylocity is not going to be fun. Just working hard isn't going to get you to the promised land. You need to also have a set of skills and overall business acumen to succeed here. Paylocity doesn't have the name recognition that a lot of our competitors enjoy so you almost feel like you're starting from behind the 8-ball on every deal. This is starting to slowly change but we are still a young organization comparatively. You will have to manage a lot of different personalities within your network and handle challenging situations as they arise. Thankfully, we have a very experienced and understanding management team to help out. At the end of the day this is a sales job and being expected to hit goals, metrics, and numbers don't go away just because we have a great culture. You may work 50+ hours a week; however most of those hours can be fun if done properly.

Pros

Its a job that pays well

Cons

You have no work/life balance..perfect companybfor those who have no families or want a life putside of payroll. Salaried employees working 60 hours a week for 40 hours pay. Corporate lies how things will get betterand never do. Work here if youd like to be divorced or just plain emotianally dead. The travel requirements are rediculous, 2 conventions a year, this is to appease those workers on tje verge of snapping after the 3 quarter ends and year ends. Hard work is shown appreciation by you doing all of the inept workers jobs. My health and life are more important than this companys stockholders. This was a very different corp before they went public... Zero care or concern for employees..
