Pros

Working from home is a plus

Cons

No one takes responsibility for their own clients it is a mess of passing the Buck from one employee to another. Also it is very political and a lot of drama even though they pride themselves on core values. For the amount of work you do you get peanuts in return. My whole training class quit with in 90 days.

Pros

Opportunities for pay increases quickly. Was able to be fully remote after about 6 months. Office has snacks, ice cream bar, massage chairs.

Cons

The work can be intense. Management doesn't really care about whether you are overwhelmed, they have to hit certain metrics. Some management teams also don't prioritize development, making it hard to move up in the company. Year end is the worst time. Lots of people quit because it's stressful.

Pros

Great people you work with who are knowledgeable and want the best for you and your team, including team leads and project manager, but not management.

Cons

Fired because I wouldn’t do mandatory OT when my workload was equivalent to at least 2-3 imp reps and I was burnt out with no help.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and the impact it has had on your well-being. It can be tough to cope with a high workload and burnout, especially without proper support. At Paylocity, we prioritize mental health and offer various resources to support our employees, including mental health PTO days. Our Mental Health ERG also promotes several mental health-related resources and best practices. We encourage employees who may be struggling with their workload to contact their manager for support and to discuss options that best fit the employees' needs. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
