      High Turnover

      Everyone who works there is nice (to your face)

      Cons

      There is a reason for the high turnover. They make assumptions about employees and act on them without doing do diligence. Training was haphazard at best. Behavior does not mesh with stated values.

      Fabulous Coworkers, Unrealistic Expectations Management

      Pros

      Overall, PeaceHealth SWMC is a strong hospital with fabulous healthcare workers. There is great team work and camaraderie among the employees with a goal of high patient satisfaction.

      Cons

      Upper management places unrealistic staffing expectations. Patient acuity levels are rising, the nurses are are continually asked to do more and more, but the staffing matrix is not adjusted accordingly. We are frequently asked to take more patients than the matrix lays out which equates to burned out workers and unsafe patient care.

      Pros

      There are well intending and immensely intelligent people that work here. Unfortunately there is a sense of continuing poor financial performance, difficultly in retaining and acquiring talent which leads to overworked and unsupported staff from current COO.

      Cons

      Abusive, unfounded aggressive tactics by PMO leadership that is condoned by HR leadership and/or COO executive staff continues to protect employee(s). Even though the behaviors contradict Mission values and statement. PeaceHealth leadership does not walk the walk.
