Great benefits, but poor pay and toxic management

Pros

- Great benefits (free healthcare, $10 dental) - If you can lease, you'll make great money - Higher bonuses than industry standard (commission, on-call, etc) From what I've heard, Pegasus can be a great company to work for depending on the area. Do your research.

Cons

- Far below industry standard base pay - Favoritism, bullying, management will always speak to you in a condescending manner - Write up policy: It takes an incredibly long time to get someone fired, even when they truly deserve it. Like they can commit illegal and horrible acts, but they still need two write ups to be terminated. I can't speak for Pegasus as a whole. From what I have seen, most upper management will beat down your confidence until you are complacent. Also incredibly unorganized and employees are stretched thin for little to no pay increase (covering multiple properties and regions).

It's all a racket

Pros

The property manager who I worked under in the beginning was the most real person--she was caring, and so supportive of anything we needed. Unfortunately, she was a floater and got moved to a different property with problems from Day 1.

Cons

Pegasus Residential talks about empowering and supporting employees, but my experience told a very different story. I cared deeply about my work and the residents I served, but when I faced serious workplace bullying and stress, leadership and HR turned away instead of helping. I reached out multiple times, hoping for understanding and fairness, yet I was met with silence and indifference. What hurt most was feeling completely alone in a company that claimed to be a family. The lack of compassion and accountability broke my trust and made me see how empty those corporate “core values” can feel in practice. Pegasus has the potential to be great, but only if it starts valuing its people — not just its image. Employees deserve empathy, protection, and real support, not hollow promises.
