Pros

Decent pay, benefits other agents are nice.

Cons

Training was terrible we had two different trainers the first one left the room for 30-45 min at a time and was over the training dept. The second was better. Didnt get my paycheck on time they put my address incorrectly into the system I still have the email asking them to fix it before the pay period ended. When in nesting they acted like questions were a bother. Was also told I would be able to work third shift but once I got to training only mornings were available. Getting hr to help is like pulling teeth.

To date we have successfully trained over 120 full-time agents at our contact center in Asheville (and cross trained scores of others); we are very proud of our Learning & Development team and both the process they have developed and the success they have achieved in this market.

Percepta is Destroying the Business

Pros

I loved working at Percepta. I did not enjoy the Percepta end of it I enjoyed the client. I also loved the people that work there. If you stay out of Perceptas way you will do great. If you keep your head down you will be fine. The people that work there and that care make the job great. You have the flexibility to work with customers to assist them with their concerns and you have tools to help you do that. The satisfaction of helping people is great. I enjoyed my job.

Cons

Percepta does show favoritism and they dont like when you question them. They dont care for their employees, but why should they. They make the client look like they are the ones that make the decisions and are the ones holding everyone back. That is not the case. Percepta comes in and they dont talk to anyone, Sarah the main boss has an attitude and will look at you like you are beneath her. She was outside smoking in the front and someone advised her she could not do that and she advised she was an executive and she can do what she wants and turned around like she was better than the employee. Percepta is destroying the company in Melbourne. They do not like you talking to the client. They blame the client for everything, but if you actually talk to the client it is not them, it is actually Percepta calling the shots and treating the employees like crap. It is a shame. It has gone down hill and I watched it go down for years. The client is great and they are willing to help the employees but Percepta is all about the money. There is no moral any more. The new CRM does not care about the team, the CRM follows Perceta and does not look at it from a human point of view. Who cares about what the employees think or feel, it is a shame. There are amazing people that work there and it is a shame that they are not recognized they have lost and will continue to lose amazing people because they dont care. I met a lot of great people working there and some were Percepta, but the majority of the Percepta team turn their heads on how they need to improve the moral and work environment for the agents. Percepta should take a long hard look on how they treat others and how they destroy employees.

I'm grateful for your years of service with the company and am sorry that you chose to leave. I hope we had a chance to address your concerns, as the site has grown significantly this year and we are opening additional sites across the country to handle our increased customer business; based on both the growth we are experiencing and the retention rates amongst our staff we feel the environment we've created is one that fosters both productivity and tenure amongst our staff.

Pros

Decent hours, M-F 8-8 for entry level inbound reps. Expanded hours for admin and back office types. Advancement is possible, I'm living proof. If you don't advance, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Cons

Management can be chaotic at times bouncing between too many directions to no direction at all.
