If you get promoted there is sometimes lag in salary structure changes

Pros

They pay you a check every 2 weeks

Cons

Leadership is checked out, they don’t know how to coach and develop and will actually say it. They don’t keep their promises, I’ve yet to see an actual open door policy be enforced, they will selectively target a metric to either knock you out of a bonus or knock you down a tier. QA doesn’t listen to the weekly calibration meetings that they have. They tell you they have a plan for your development but don’t share it, or act on it. I would reach out to the hr email address that will undoubtedly be given if there was a guarantee that my job was safe from retaliation. TLs are overworked. Supervisors don’t care, upper management in my program is disconnected, and there’s not an avenue to safely bring concerns and solutions up.

Pros

The pay is competitive, with a strong bonus structure for meeting performance metrics. The hybrid work schedule provides excellent flexibility, and my coworkers are great to work with. Both my supervisor and her supervisor are fantastic at offering support and guidance. The benefits are great. In terms of call center work, this is by far the best experience I’ve had because the focus is on providing information rather than selling or persuading. That said, I may be a bit biased coming from backgrounds in debt collection and health insurance.

Cons

If you’ve ever worked in a call center, you already know the usual cons. If not, this is a great environment to learn them.
